The artistic season of this 2017 of the MIDAC Museum in Belforte del Chienti, continues with the second event of the year: “Mas Sur Realismo” by Sergio Carlos Spinelli (Argentina). The exhibition, curated by Terra dell’Arte and with the patronage of the Municipality, will be held in former Church of Saint Sebastian, historical center of Belforte del Chienti, from Saturday, June 3rd to Sunday, July 2nd.
Sergio Carlos Spinelli, Argentina, 1963, is graphic designer, plastic and digital artist, photographer and professor of the Multimedia Workshop in the Career of Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts Antonio Berni of the Province of Buenos Aires. He was professor of Morphology in Graphic Design of the University of Buenos Aires, faculty of architecture, design and urbanism and professor of the Gutenberg Foundation of Graphic Arts. His digital works received prizes in Italy, Denmark and Buenos Aires and his works are part of private collections in Rome, Belforte del Chienti, Buenos Aires, Lima, Tokyo and Amsterdam.

The artistic season of this 2016 of the MIDAC Museum in Belforte del Chienti, continues with the second event of the year: “Personale” by Luciano Celli Tancredi (Italy). The exhibition, curated by Terra dell’Arte and with the patronage of the Municipality, will be held in Palazzo Bonfranceschi, in Via Cavour, 14, historical center of Belforte del Chienti, from Saturday, May 7 to Sunday, June 26.
Luciano Celli Tancredi, born in 1941 in San Benedetto del Tronto, lives and works in Macerata.
Polyhedral character, intolerant to preconceived ideas, leaves the school early for a free path. Convinced that a sculptor must be above all a skilled craftsman makes practice in several areas, not forgetting to training in art history and philosophy.
From 1958 to 1961 he is working in a photo lab and ceramic, becoming then owner, learning chemical formulas and optical laws greatly useful to his artistic needs. Since 1962 starts his full artistic activity. Later as a craftsman sculptor opens a carpentry workshop, blacksmith and stone mason, creating works and successful furniture.
He has made several exhibitions in Germany and Italy.
“[..] The craftsmanship of the gesture takes nothing away to artistic achievement, indeed ennobles it. With patience and constant work has built an ability to tame the stretch, the color and the material and shaping the work coming out of preconceived sizes.
The places of collective memory merge with his places and her dreamy style gives freedom to all its forms by the weight of time. [..]”
