The Watercolor Museum of Toluca present “De Trazos Peregrinos – Apuntes a las Visiones conjuntas sobre la Fénix de América” exhibition of Laura Castanedo
Laura Castanedo, besides being the Vice President of Terra dell’Arte is also co-director of MIDAC. Artist of great international importance, presents an exhibition of the latest research results on the figure of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, continues to pursue research for years.
Laura Castanedo is the curator and director for Terra dell’Arte and the MIDAC, of the world’s largest project on this Hispanic literary personage, “Oyeme con los Ojos”, with the participation of writers and visual artists among the most recognized. One of the exhibition presented in this large proyect was Visiones Conjuntas, a show that included 48 artists and writers working in duets reflecting about the Fénix de América.
“De trazos Peregrinos” is the personal vision or the artist-curator about the works resulting of her calling.
Will run from December 3th , 2011 until January 22rd, 2012. Opening, Saturday 3th December at 1.00 p.m.
The Watercolor Museum open tuesday to saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00pm , Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Free entrance Wednesday and Sundays
